What is a doula?
A doula offers emotional and practical support during pregnancy, birth, and the early weeks of motherhood. My role is not to tell you what your birth should look like, but to help you explore your options and feel confident in your choices. As a doula I don’t replace your partner (if you have one). Instead, I support you both as you navigate pregnancy and birth together.
I offer two doula support packages, which you can read about below. I also offer a number of pregnancy and postnatal services that can be booked on their own.
Birth Doula Support
£850
I offer a small number spaces for full birth support each year for families in North Wales.
What’s included
Unlimited messages and phone contact from the time you book
Five prenatal sessions during pregnancy (2-3 hours each)
On-call support for your birth (within a six-week due window)
Continuous support during labour and birth
Three postnatal visits after your baby arrives (2-3 hours each)
Prenatal sessions
During pregnancy we’ll spend time getting to know each other as you prepare to welcome your baby.
One of these sessions would ideally be Birth Mapping, where we explore your preferences, options, hopes and fears for your birth. You can read more about this and my other services at the bottom of the page.
The remaining sessions are flexible and can be shaped around what feels most helpful for you at the time. These might include:
Pregnancy massage
Practical help such as deep-cleaning & decluttering
Debriefing any previous birth experiences
Attending any maternity appointments where you feel the need for extra support
Time to talk, walk, and reflect on your journey so far
Postnatal sessions
After your baby arrives, I offer three postnatal sessions to support you as you settle into early motherhood. Again, these sessions are flexible and shaped around what would feel most helpful in the moment. This might include:
Practical support around the home
Holding the baby while you rest or shower
Preparing simple food or helping with household tasks
Spending time talking through your birth experiencewhen you feel ready
Placenta printing
Additional postnatal sessions available at £35 / hour
The early weeks after birth can feel intensely tender. These visits are there to help ease that transition.
Pregnancy & Postnatal Doula Support
£550
For some women, continuous birth support isn’t what they’re looking for, but they would still like companionship and practical help during pregnancy and the early weeks after their baby arrives.
This package offers the same support before and after birth, without being on-call to support you in labour.
What’s included
Unlimited messages and phone contact from the time you book
Eight sessions that can be used during pregnancy or postnatally (2-3 hours each)
Sessions shaped around what feels most helpful to you
Some families choose to use more sessions during pregnancy to prepare for birth, while others prefer to save most of the time for support after their baby arrives.
Sessions might include

Other Services
-

Birth Mapping
Drawing on my training in Birth Cartography, a birth mapping session will help you explore your options for birth. Together we look at the different paths birth can take and talk through what matters most to you, so that you can feel informed and confident in the choices you make. This can be done in person or online.
-

Pregnancy Massage
Massage offers time to slow down, relax, and connect with your body during pregnancy. These sessions can help ease common discomforts such as back pain, while also creating space for rest during a time that can often feel busy or overwhelming.
-

Deep Clean & Declutter
In the final weeks of pregnancy you may feel the urge to prepare your home for the arrival of your new baby. Sometimes having another pair of hands (and a calm presence) makes this feel far more manageable.
-

Birth Story Weaving
Birth Story Weaving is a creative and meaningful way of processing and honouring your birth experience. Together we create a woven cord with beads that represent different moments of your birth story. As we weave, there is space to talk through your experience and reflect on the journey of bringing your baby into the world. This can be done in person or online.
-

Placenta Prints
Create a lasting keepsake from your baby’s birth. Using your placenta, I can make a traditional natural print, or a mixed-media print combining your baby’s placenta with meaningful elements such as foliage, ultrasound images, maps, or baby footprints. Each print is unique and personal to your family. You can see examples of my work here.
-

Mother Baby Circles
Weekly gatherings for mothers with babies in their first year where we share tea, soup, and conversation. Open to all, these circles provide space to connect, share experiences, and create a supportive community in early motherhood. You can view upcoming events on my Facebook page.
